Nina has over 10 years of experience in a variety of different clinical settings which include: Child Protection, working with adults, young children and adolescents in public mental health and private practice. She is skilled in a range of evidence-based therapies, used interchangeably depending on an individual’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based approaches, and Solution-focused Therapy. Nina emphasises the importance of listening to and understanding the individual’s stories to attain mutual comprehension of the sources of their distress. With her warm and gentle demeanour, Nina values the importance of a therapeutic relationship built on trust, mutual respect and compassion to create a safe and positive environment to cultivate change.
